Charlie Robison & Buce Robison - Some of OUR Favorite Rough Country [NSFW]

Charlie Robison is a singer and song writer at the age of 50 is still one of our favorites for being real people, and a great songwriter with a style Nashville may not care for much, but we call it "Rough Country".

Charlie and his younger brother Bruce will sometime do these acoustic shows, like this one at McGonigal's Mucky Duck in Houston back in 2012. With a few of our favorites...

At one time Charlie was married to Emily Erwin of Dixie Chicks fame and they had 3 kids. They got were married 9 years before getting divorced in 2008. Charlie got into the bar biz in 2014 with MLB player Brooks Kieshnick when he opened "Alamo Icehouse".

Even though the Houston native skipped out of Nashville and headed home to Texas, he is still influencing the music out of Nashville. It was Charlie Robison's version of Keith Gattis' "El Ceritto Place" with Natalie Maines that turned Kenny Chesney on to it and became one of his top records.
